Even if elevators have become an integral part of buildings, their layout often has to meet complex design and architectural conditions. With this in mind, ThyssenKrupp Ascenseurs offers you its hydraulic elevator solution to combine flexibility with freedom of creation.
The car is gently driven, directly or indirectly, by one or two jacks fed by a compact hydraulic unit requiring a small technical room only.
The machine room is in a basement or far from the shaft (up to 15 meters from the ram) and with no direct communication with the latter. This helps reduce noise. The motor and its oil-immersed screw pump enable gentle and quiet running.
ThyssenKrupp Ascenseurs offers you hydraulic drive for installations with up to 20 meters of car travel, speed of at least 1,00 m/s and a standard traffic configuration of 90 starts per hour. The varied rams and hydraulic unit characteristics make many different combinations possible.
ThyssenKrupp Ascenseurs hydraulic units are calculated for maximum requirements. Furthermore, thermistors protect them against excess oil temperatures and embedded motor thermistors against motor overheating. Installations benefit from systems protecting against slow drift, rupture, excess pressure and overloading in compliance with current standards. To optimize the installations, ThyssenKrupp Ascenseurs offers complementary equipment: loading limit stops, excess pressure switches, machine room additional heating or cooling enabling a constant and homogeneous temperature of the hydraulic unit and control valve.
