The elevator, a permanently available technical facility and an integral part of the building has a twofold purpose:
- Transport (traffic management, comfort, reliability, safety…)
- Architectural, taking its place naturally in its surroundings
A capital goods item with a long service life, and provided it is kept in a good running state, it can evolve with the building while being an integral part of its image and assets.
Over the years, real estate assets must be kept in a good state of repair and can change in various ways, e.g.:
